Acrylic Ocean

Acrylic Ocean is a soundscape collaboration between Mexican artist Damián Ortega and Darío Acuña for his exhibition “Essay On Exchange”, winner of the Zurich Art Prize 2023. The video installation shows a sort of idyllic situation, or an apocalyptic post-industrial scenario in which the residues of the exchange dynamics have emerged as a new form of life or a new species. A reinvention of the natural and the artificial has taken place. 

Essay on Exchange opened to the public on the 26th october 2023 at Haus Konstruktiv, Zurich.
